WIP Trolley
The WIP trolley is meticulously engineered to generate adequate hydraulic pressure and volumetric flow rate to actuate the specified troll balls within the inlet and exhaust ducts of pharmaceutical process equipment’s like FBD and Coating machines. It facilitates the operation of the machine’s inlet and exhaust dampers during duct washing and is equipped with dual water inlets – potable and purified. An integrated water level sensor prevents cavitation and dry running of the centrifugal pump. The booster pump is capable of driving up to three troll balls under operating conditions of 2 to 3.8 kg/cm² water pressure and 40 to 140 LPM flow rate.
Featuring a single outlet and an electro-pneumatic control circuit, the trolley manages all the solenoid-actuated valves in the duct lines. An automated drain valve facilitates the evacuation of residual fluid from the pipeline and interconnecting piping. The air purging circuit effectively expels water droplets, operating within the range of 0.5 to 3 kg/cm² air pressure and 50 to 150 CFM air flow.
The control architecture is built on a Mitsubishi PLC and SCADA system, offering three operational modes: Auto, Manual, and Maintenance. The Auto mode is programmed with equipment-specific recipes to streamline the process. The entire sequence of operation is governed by a pneumatic actuation system.
The process control system is recipe based and 21 CFR part 11 compliant
